Kid Cudi’s recent auction through the Pharrell-founded Joopiter platform was a smashing success, with recent reports putting the total haul in the hundreds of thousands. The auction, which took place under the decidedly Cudi-esque title of On Another Planet, featured a number of pieces from the Man on the Moon artist and We Are Who We Are actor ranging from supremely rare jewelry to vintage t-shirts.

Among the highlights of the collection was a Jacob & Co. 14-karat white gold and gemstone N.E.R.D. brain pendant chain, which was listed with a final price of more than $243,000 following the auction’s close. An 18-karat Ben Baller and Takashi Murakami spinning flower pendant and chain, meanwhile, was listed with a final price of $38,750. Another Ben and Murakami chain managed a similarly high final price, coming in at $37,500.

On the vintage tees front, Cudi had quite a few gems up for grabs, including a Green Day tour shirt from the punk trio’s Dookie era (final price $375), a Nirvana top (final price $500), and a 1999 Eminem t-shirt (final price $500).

Other highlights from the auction include a Chrome Hearts boost logo black hoodie (final price $1,650), Louis Vuitton x Air Force 1 Low from the late Virgil Abloh’s Spring/Summer 2022 men’s collection lineup (final price $82,500), and a custom multi-color gemstone pendant inspired by Cudi’s pre-fame BAPE days (final price $43,750).

All told, per multiple reports, the Cudi auction is said to have amassed just shy of $858,000.

In an interview with GQ last month, Cudi pointed to the Nirvana t-shirt as one of the more personally important pieces in the collection, explaining that he has a penchant for tracking down collectible pieces connected to the classic band while on tour. Both Nirvana and Green Day, he added at the time, have “really influenced” him as an artist.
