Since premiering on Nickelodeon on May 1, 1999, SpongeBob SquarePants has grown to be one of the most beloved cartoons of all time. There have been movies, theme parks attractions, and even fast food meals inspired by Bikini Bottom’s favorite fry cook. Like any pop culture phenomenon, there have also been plenty of streetwear brands who have referenced it over the past 26 years.

The latest example comes from Supreme. The brand dropped a series of Jeff Hamilton racing jackets and Castelli cycling gear featuring SpongeBob and the gang today. It was one of the most anticipated releases of the Supreme Spring/Summer 2025 collection. So, it got us thinking about what streetwear brand has the best SpongeBob collab of all time.

Check out our top 10 picks below.

Year: 2019

Not much to say here. These Timbs are inexplicable. Shoutout to BlocBoy JB, though.

Year: 2021

I’ll be honest, I didn’t know this existed until I started to put this together. SpongeBob and the gang dressed in Sandy Liang on the tees is a cute touch. I also like how Liang used some nautical patterns inspired by the show’s art direction instead of just slapping characters across the Vans Sk8-His.

Year: 2018

I know this is one of the more valuable SpongeBob collabs featured on this list, and people love Bearbricks, but it just creeps me out. I can’t look at it for very long. SpongeBob should be square.

Year: 2024

Crocs has gone viral for its clogification of numerous iconic characters in recent years. These are a meme more than anything else, but Crocs are still super comfy and the characters are translated pretty well to the rubber footwear, so they get some points.

Year: 2017

Kith has released so many pop culture collaborations for adults that it was a bit surprising to learn its SpongeBob drop eight years ago was a kids exclusive. That does sort of help its case though. This stuff is much more acceptable for a kid to wear than a grown man.

Year: 2013

ICECREAM’s collab was fairly concise. SpongeBob and Patrick were placed beside some ICECREAM logos on tees and hoodies. It’s a simple formula, but hese photos of Pharrell wearing it are very nostalgic to me for some reason.

Year: 2024

CPFM’s drops are notoriously pretty hard to get, so it was cool to see it drop some goodies with Uniqlo that were actually easy to acquire. If you’re lucky, you may even still be able to find some of it on sale in your local mall. The brand’s trippy reinterpretations of the SpongeBob Squarepants characters and nods to some of the internet memes that have spawned over the years was a unique route to take. We still kind of regret not buying the plush toys.

Year: 2025

Not everything from Supreme’s SpongeBob collab is good. For instance, unless you’re training for the Tour de France, I don’t know why you’d buy this cycling bib. But there are also some undeniable pieces. The Jeff Hamilton racing jacket is hard. While it will certainly be silly to see grown ups trying to get fits off in it, the execution is pretty incredible.

Year: 2019

Kyrie Irving has since left Nike, but the SpongeBob pack that dropped back in 2019 is easily one of the best things to come out of his signature line with the Swoosh. Every character is translated perfectly. Our personal favorite has always been the Mr. Krabs colorway with the money print on the midsole and lining, but you really can’t go wrong with any of them. There’s a reason you’ll still see hoopers lacing these up on court to this day. They were just that good.

Year: 2008

The oldest collab on our list is also the best. The SpongeBob Bape Stas are a reminder of Bape’s heyday when, Nigo was still at the helm. The glossy patent leather uppers and gum bottoms perfectly represent the absorbent cartoon. Even so, this pair is still incredibly wearable because the branding is kept to a minimum, just a small face hit on the lateral heels. The Baby Milo tees and plush keychains that rounded out the capsule are nice too, but the sneakers are what make this one so iconic. And who could forget Pharrell’s croc version? An ultimate grail.
