Adidem Asterisks is a Toronto-based streetwear brand founded by Nicholas “Nicko” Bruno, Xavier Miller ,and Jonathan Ishak in 2017. Recently, it has been making waves stateside.

The brand’s designs are meant to be part of your wardrobe for years to come. Staples like cargo pants and hoodies are elevated with unique patterns and premium applications.

Some of its most popular products to date have been trucker caps featuring chainstitched logos and high quality camouflage sets. Its latest collection for SS25 was its strongest to date and proved that the brand is just getting started.

Our personal favorite is the Crocodile Cursive Leather Bomber. The $750 leather jacket showcases the brand’s ability to create statement pieces at a high level.

Bruno’s favorites include the chainstitch tank tops for their wearability, crochet track tops for their detail and craftsmanship, and the crocodile bomber for its eye-catching nature.

“Adidem” is a Latin term that means “to the same thing” or “meeting of the minds.” Bruno chose the word because of the foundation of close friends that the brand was built on. As for Asterisks, it just looked and sounded good so they tacked it on to the name.

Adidem Asterisks’ collections reflect the variety of style in its home city, from sportswear to refined menswear. “Toronto is rich in culture, but with that comes contrast and complexity,” says Bruno. “Defining one singular style here is difficult and I believe our brand captures that spirit.”

“People often say we’re the best brand that no one has heard of,” says Bruno. “While I appreciate the compliment, I don’t want to stay in that space. We’re ready to grow beyond that.”
