For over three decades, Law & Order has been a staple of American television. Between the original series, its reboots, and spin-offs like Special Victims Unit, the Dick Wolf franchise has defined procedural drama while building a cultural footprint that reaches far beyond primetime.

From its long syndication run to the recognizable sound of its two-note “dun dun,” the show has become one of the most enduring brands in TV history.

This fall, the franchise is marking another milestone—its 25th season—with a New York City pop-up that blends food, fashion, and fandom, according to NBC.

Dubbed the “Dun Dun Diner,” the activation runs October 3–5 at Rockefeller Center, transforming 1 Rockefeller Plaza into a space that looks like the kind of late-night spot detectives might hit after closing a case.

The project is a collaboration between NBCUniversal, Milk Bar, and Dinner Service NY. The experience offers fans the chance to enjoy diner-style dishes while exploring an immersive environment filled with nods to the 27th Precinct, Easter eggs tied to Olivia Benson and the SVU squad, and callbacks to some of the franchise’s most memorable moments.

For Dinner Service NY, working with Law & Order felt like a natural fit. “Law & Order is as New York as it gets, and so is Dinner Service NY,” said Trina Assur, co-founder of the brand. “Partnering with a cultural icon to celebrate its 25th season felt like a natural fit—our work has always been about translating the city’s grit, humor, and flavor into collectible pieces.”

Alongside the food experience, fans will have access to limited-edition merch inspired by the show.

According to Gabrielle Gomes, also a co-founder of Dinner Service NY, the goal was to create something that could live beyond the pop-up. “The Dun Dun Diner is the perfect backdrop for this drop. It brings together food, fashion, and storytelling—exactly what DSNY is built on. We wanted fans to leave not just with memories of the franchise, but with something they can wear that carries that energy forward.”

The capsule collection aligns perfectly with the detective aesthetic. “Every piece in the collection is a uniform of sorts—for the true squad,” Assur added. “From the quarter-zip that nods to detectives to the diner ringer tee, it’s about letting fans rep their love for Law & Order while keeping it authentically New York.”

The Dun Dun Diner is open October 3 from 1–7 p.m., and October 4–5 from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Fans who step inside will be greeted with coffee, comfort food, and the unmistakable soundtrack of one of television’s most iconic franchises.
