The retro run for Kevin Durant’s longstanding Nike signature basketball line will continue this year with the return of the KD 6, according to Sole Retriever and @zSneakerheadz on Instagram.

Not only is the Swoosh bringing back Durant’s sixth signature model, but specifically it’s beloved “Aunt Pearl” colorway that originally released in 2014. As the name suggests, this floral color scheme pays tribute to Durant’s late Aunt Pearl, who passed away from lung cancer in 2000. It’s worth mentioning that there are currently no leaked images of the retro, but the upcoming version is expected to be true to the original pair (shown above).

The sneaker features a pink floral graphic on the upper that’s inspired by a robe she regularly wore, and has the Kay Yow Cancer Fund ribbon on the tongue.

According to Sole Retriever and @zSneakerheadz on Instagram, the “Aunt Pearl” KD 6 retro will drop sometime this holiday season but the release has yet to be confirmed by Nike. Check back soon for new developments in the coming months.
