For one, Brianna has found her way back to her family, because we see her and Claire together again. (You knew that was only a matter of time, as Brianna, Roger, Jem, and Mandy weren’t going to be separated too long from Claire and Jamie in the final season. Still, we can’t wait to see that reunion come to fruition.) Next, Frank Randall manages to work his way back into Jamie and Claire’s life when Jamie gets a copy of Frank’s book, The Soul of a Rebel.
Jamie tells Claire that Frank indicated there will be a battle in a year’s time at a place called Kings Mountain, and in it, “[he] says I die,” Jamie says. Claire doesn’t take well to this piece of news, but Jamie says the only way to protect her and everyone he loves is to fight. However, if he dies, he wants Claire to go back to the 20th century.
Claire being Claire doesn’t want to hear it, though. “This is my home,” she says. “When I first [encountered The Stones], I don’t know if it was fate or destiny, but what I do know is that I’m meant to be here.”

Each season’s opening title sequences have been tailored by Emmy winner and series composer Bear McCreary, drawing inspiration from the upcoming storylines and locations.
