Angela Simmons’ Yankees Fitted Cap Corset Draws Mixed Reactions

Angela Simmons’ outfit from her “Run To” video has fans confused.

Simmons, who is credited as Angela Renee on the new song, is seen wearing a corset fashioned from two navy blue New York Yankees fitted hats.

Of course, X was relentless.

“Run To,” which features Jadakiss, was released via Ruff Ryders on March 13 and is Simmons’ debut on the label.

“History in the making,” a description posted with the music video reads, which also characterized the song as “Spoken word meets hip hop,” adding, “A voice, a message, a movement. This is only the beginning.”

Last year, Simmons and Yo Gotti, who dated for two-and-a-half years, parted ways. She opened up about the relationship in an interview with Angie Martinez IRL that was released back in June of 2025.

“I wouldn’t have chose it, but it was what was best,” Simmons said of the breakup. She later added that she and Gotti shared “great, beautiful memories.”
