Esquire’s digital director, Madison Vain, wholeheartedly endorses this modular sectional from Sundays for more reasons than we have space here to write about. To boil it down: If comfort is what you’re after, this is the place to get it. It’s big and plush, and it’s got a handful of toss pillows to move around. Plus, Sundays’ proprietary LiveLife fabric is one of the best stain-resistant fabrics on the market, which has impressed Vain each time her toddlers have spilled milk or snacks.

Something to note about the cushions, however, is that they take some time to break in. During her first week of owning the sofa, Vain said the cushions didn’t have much give. But after a few months, they’ve been broken in perfectly.

As for the look, she went with the Cream Linen upholstery option pictured here. When you see this couch in dark gray or charcoal, it gets to be a bit too “bro couch.” (And that’s coming from a guy who prefers cigar-lounge chesterfield sofas.) If you keep it light, it’s a blank canvas for the rest of your living-room look. Add in free delivery and assembly and a functional modular design and you get the perfect couch for working and napping.
