Sacramento Kings All-Star point guard De’Aaron Fox will soon have his own signature basketball shoe under Stephen Curry’s Curry Brand with Under Armour.
The news of Fox’s upcoming shoe was made official at a private press event for the latest UA Curry 12 in New York City yesterday, where the head of marketing at the Curry Brand, Nada Dadzie, confirmed that the Curry Fox 1 will be launching sometime this winter. Curry Brand’s senior footwear designer Ed Wallace also revealed that the silhouette will feature a low-cut upper and is “runner-esque.”
Prior to joining the Curry Brand last year, Fox was signed to Nike for his first five seasons in the league. For his debut with the Curry Brand in October, Fox laced up the Curry 2 Low FloTro.
Specific launch details surrounding the Curry Fox 1 shoe have yet to be announced by the brand. Check back soon for new developments in the months ahead.
