Watches and Wonders 2025 is upon us. Click here for all our reports from the watch world’s biggest annual event.

You would not be mistaken for thinking that Watches and Wonders is largely a celebration of high-end (read: expensive) models from some of the industry’s best legacy brands because, well, it sort of is. Everyone from Rolex to Patek Philippe to Vacheron Constantin shows up here to peddle their wares—many of them cost more than six figures. However, that doesn’t mean there aren’t watches on offer at more approachable prices—uncovering them merely takes some legwork.

Brands like TAG Heuer have long served as an entry point into the larger watch-collecting hobby, with recent high school and college grads proudly wearing Links and Carreras. Nomos, meanwhile, offers in-house movements and creative design at truly remarkable value throughout its entire collection, and Oris sells several of its watches with either off-the-shelf or in-house movements to suit a wide variety of tastes (and budgets).

Got some spare cash to spend on a watch but don’t want to venture far beyond $5K to $7K, and definitely not beyond $10K? Then check out some of the watches below—not only is each one an awesome design worthy of your attention, but the value proposition within a sea of eye-watering sticker prices is truly remarkable.

Independent Swiss maker Oris has been making its famed Big Crown pilot’s watch since the 1930s, but the real excitement started when the brand began outfitting it with its in-house Calibre 403 movement. A new 40-mm version—boasting five days of power reserve and the collection’s famed pointer date complication—in cool pistachio and terracotta dials caught our eye this year.
