As reported by Complex, Nike prices, along with Jordan Brand prices, are going up.
Some increases—which Nike told retailers would go into effect starting in June—are reflected now on nike.com. Examples include the recently released “UNC Reimagined” Air Jordan 1 listed for $185 and “Melo” Air Jordan 12 listed $205, each representing a $5 bump from their respective original launch prices. This aligns with the expected $2 to $10 jump that Nike notified its retail partners of.
The price changes will only affect the U.S., where new import duties are forcing companies who sell Asian-made goods to reconsider their prices.
These increases are limited to adult sizing, and don’t impact kids’ sneakers on Nike’s site. Additional exclusions that Nike says were designed to keep products affordable for “everyday consumers” include Jordan apparel and accessories, kids’ apparel, Air Force 1s, and all footwear under $100.
The increases come on the heels of President Trump’s tariffs and the ensuing market chaos they ignited. Nike avoided attributing its price increases to the tariffs directly, instead citing “expected inflation” and “economic conditions.”
