Converse Shai 001 ‘Truffle’ Release Date

Shai Gilgeous Alexander is planning to release a new iteration of his Converse Shai 001 signature shoe for next weekend’s NBA All Star festivities.

This release coincides with Alexander being named a four-time All-Star, representing Team World for next week’s event. This latest “Truffle” colorway features a more premium construction than the past releases, opting for a nubuck upper that’s dressed in a tonal brown makeup that the brand says is inspired by chocolate and luxury leather goods. The tooling is equipped with a Zoom Air unit at the forefoot, while a radial pattern provides better control on the court.

This “Truffle” Shai 001 will be released on Feb. 14 at Undefeated La Brea and at “The Shai Lounge” popup space at 8580 Sunset Boulevard in West Hollywood on Feb. 14 for $170. The global release will arrive on Feb. 26 at Converse.com. Grab a closer look at the latest Shai 001 colorway below.
