Anytime there’s a release of a hyped sneaker, there comes an increased interest from fans looking to buy pairs to offload on resale platforms. This scenario was no different when it came to last week’s shock drop of the ‘Kirkland’ Costco x Nike SB Dunks.

The data presented here from StockX of the Costco x Nike SB Dunk Low breaks down the daily average prices from the initial release on Jan. 30 to noon ET today. The collab, which retailed for $135, resold for around $339 on release day on Jan. 30 but quickly climbed in average resale prices the next three days to $457 on Jan. 31, $470 on Feb. 1, and $471 today. There have been close to 700 sales since launch on the platform with an average resale price of $377.

Fans first got word on the Costco x Nike SB Dunk Low’s release on Friday when X user @RaffyCollects shared a video of the shoe being sold on the sales floor of their local Costco. As soon as the news spread, fans flocked to big box stores nationwide, leading to lengthy lineups at various locations. Thus far, only eight Costco stores have stocked the SB Dunk, and there hasn’t been any word from Nike of an online drop.

The Costco x Nike SB Dunk Low initially leaked last summer and instantly garnered mixed reviews from sneaker fans. The colorway itself is inspired by Costco’s Kirkland Signature brand’s apparel pieces and features a jersey material like the store’s hoodies and sweatpants. The sneaker also comes with a hangtag designed to look like a Costco membership card and hidden details like its beloved hotdog sign underneath the insoles.
