Kawhi Leonard New Balance Kawhi V Release Date

After debuting his next signature shoe on the court at the NBA All-Star Game in February, the release for Kawhi Leonard’s New Balance Kawhi 5 has finally been announced.

The Boston-based sportswear brand has just confirmed that the Kawhi 5 will launch this summer. New Balance says the latest model is a reflection of Leonard’s two-way basketball prowess paired with a lifestyle-inspired aesthetic. The silhouette features a premium upper paired with a FuelCell-cushioned midsole, with a Y-Plate at the forefoot for a quick first step.

“Working with the New Balance design team on the Kawhi 5 is a continuation of what we have been building together through the years,” Leonard said. “I
wanted this model to highlight those first steps, that first burst that you feel on
the court. We added details that allow me to perform at the top of my game but
also show my creative style.”

Readers will be able to cop the New Balance Kawhi 5 sometime this summer at Newbalance.com and at select New Balance doors for $160.
