Nike has unveiled a new high-performance running sneaker that’s designed specifically for hitting the trails.

Debuting earlier next year is the Nike ACG Ultrafly, which is the brand’s newest super shoe and made to handle the harsh demands of trail racing. According to Nike, it took 13 rounds of testing that converted to over 30,000 miles before it landed on the current version of the ACG Ultrafly pictured above.

The Ultrafly features a low-cut upper equipped with a large Swoosh logo on the sides and ACG branding on the tongue and heel. The standout design element of the model is its premium ZoomX midsole paired with a carbon fiber FlyPlate embedded within the foam, while a durable Vibram outsole sits below.

“From the beginning, the Nike ACG Ultrafly was developed in lockstep with our Nike athletes who desired a trail-tuned super shoe,” Brenden McAleese, the director of Nike ACG Footwear, said. “They pushed us to rethink what fit, form, and feel could be for a trail shoe, and every design decision was informed by their feedback and validated in the wild. This shoe isn’t just inspired by the terrain. It’s engineered to redefine how fast you can move with it.”

Readers will be able to cop the Nike ACG Ultrafly beginning in Spring 2026 at Nike.com and at select Nike retailers. Grab a closer look at the sneaker below.
