Nike has finally officially unveiled the Air Max DN8, a shoe it’s been quietly teasing for months.

The latest model in the Swoosh’s long-running Air Max franchise will launch on Feb. 6 via SNKRS and select retail doors in the “Vibrant Pink” colorway.

Building on the Dynamic Air tech introduced on last year’s Air Max Dn, the DN8 extends the dual-pressured Air units to the entirety of the midsole for additional cushioning. Complementing the tooling is a breathable, low-cut mesh upper.

“For the Dn8, we wanted to be lower to the ground. We wanted to feel more Air. We wanted to improve transition,” Jonathan Kosenick, Nike’s lead designer for men’s sportswear, said. “All of those goals led us to design the shoe with eight Air chambers directly in contact with the ground, which allows the chambers to more effectively compress and be way more flexible, delivering a much bouncier, springier sensation that channels a Nike performance footwear approach into a shoe you want to wear every day.”

Nike also confirmed that additional colorways will launch at Nike.com and at select retailers in the coming weeks.
