Nike is once again cracking down on unpaid invoices from boutiques. This time, the sportswear giant is suing Don C and his Chicago-based retail store, RSVP Gallery, for nearly $200k. News of the suit was first reported by Sneaker Legal on X.
In Nike’s lawsuit filed in Illinois’ Northern District Court yesterday, the Swoosh is seeking $190,191.95 from Don C for the outstanding balance of Nike products tied to RSVP Gallery. It’s worth mentioning that Nike also accused former collaborator Edison Chen and his company Juice Los Angeles of owing $126,615.68 for goods and services last month, but has since announced its intent to dismiss the case.
