Despite being slightly more tame than last week’s All-Star lineup of releases, there are still plenty of notable drops that sneaker fans should have on their radars in the coming days.
The biggest drops for this week include the return of the “Galaxy” Nike Foamposite One, the JJJJound x Adidas Superstar, and the Joe Freshgoods x New Balance 992.

What You Need to Know: The latest pair of Nike KD 4 colorways pay homage to the specific part in Kevin Durant’s MVP speech in 2014 when he honored his mom by telling her “You the Real MVP.” The white and blue iterations represent the Oklahoma City Thunder uniforms worn by KD during his MVP run in ’14.

What You Need to Know: JJJJound and Adidas have reconnected this week for a set of premium Superstar releases. According to JJJJound, the white colorway features the ’80s version of the shell toe, while the black pair uses the ’90s version.

What You Need to Know: The iconic “Galaxy” Nike Foamposite One that was introduced in 2012 during NBA All-Star Weekend is back. Much like the original, the retro features a Constellation graphic on the upper, glow-in-the-dark outsoles, and a removable Flight tag.

What You Need to Know: Dubbed “Aged Well,” Joe Freshgoods’ latest New Balance 992 collab is a callback to the duo’s first 992 project in 2020. The sneaker dons a combination of brown and tan hues throughout the premium pigskin suede and mesh upper, and a two-tone midsole. The sneaker also comes with multiple sets of shoelaces for personalization.

What You Need to Know: As part of the ongoing Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series of Puma MB releases, next up is a MB.03 Lo inspired by the supervillain Krang. The shoe sports a purple and pink color scheme paired with special graphics on the tongue and heel referencing the cartoon series.

What You Need to Know: Dubbed “Lucky Shorts,” this new Air Jordan 3 colorway pays tribute to the UNC shorts Michael Jordan would wear under his Chicago Bulls uniforms during games. This colorway dons white and university blue hues as a nod to the Tar Heels’ team colors.
