The Nike Air Max 95 “Olympic,” a release from 2004 modeled after the colors of the interlocking Olympics rings, will return as part of Nike’s Spring 2026 collection, sneaker industry sources tell Complex. Like the original, the retro will have a white base with accents in gold, red, blue, yellow, and green.

Nike declined to comment on the upcoming “Olympic” Air Max 95 retro.

There are no leaked images of the new “Olympic” Air Max 95s, and it’s possible the shoe will deviate from the exact colorblocking of the ‘04 pair. Nike did release an alternate version of the shoe in 2020, but the color code for next year’s release suggests it will look like the ‘04 rather than the ‘20 colorway.

The “Olympic” Air Max 95 was never an official Olympics shoe, just a model taking advantage of the Games’ recognizable colors. The original arrived amid the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens and is considered one of the best Air Max 95s of all time.

The upcoming Nike Air Max 95 “Olympic” (style code IB7872-100) is scheduled for Spring 2026, meaning its release should fall between January and March of next year. That window suggests that the shoe may be tied to the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan, which will take place in February.
