Wales Bonner's Next Adidas Collab Drops This Week

Wales Bonner and Adidas Originals have churned out some of the best sneaker collaborations in recent memory with their Samba releases. Now, the duo is adding another silhouette to their collaborative portfolio with the Adizero Adios shown here.

This silhouette, originally named the Adizero Adios Neftenga, was famously worn by long-distance runner Haile Gebrselassie when he crossed the finish line of the 2008 Berlin Marathon. In the race, he set the then-record finish time of 02:03:59.

Bonner’s version of the Adizero Adios is nearly identical to the original, donning a vibrant yellow upper offset by black Three Stripes branding and silver trim around the heel. This pair does feature co-branding on the tongue and on the insoles.

This Wales Bonner x Adidas Adizero Adios will be released in limited quantities on Thursday, Sept. 12, via the Confirmed app and at Walesbonner.com.
