There are still several notable sneaker releases hitting retailers this week despite the arrival of the new year.

Dropping on New Year’s Day is the Arizona-inspired “Sedona” Nike Book 1. Arriving on the following day is a four-shoe “Ekiden” Nike Running collection featuring the Alphafly 3, the Vaporfly 3, the Zoom Fly 6, and the Rival Fly 4. Rounding out the releases is the return of the Nike indoor soccer shoe, the Gato.

What You Need to Know: Nike and Devin Booker are ringing in the new year with the release of a special “Sedona” colorway of his Book 1 signature shoe. The style features a predominantly red color scheme referencing the red rocks in city of Sedona, Arizona, while the stitching represents its topography.

What You Need to Know: Following a Japan-exclusive release in November, Nike’s “Ekiden” collection is releasing again globally on Thursday. The lineup consists of the Alphafly 3, the Vaporfly 3, the Zoom Fly 6, and the Rival Fly 4, all featuring a fiery graphic on the uppers.

What You Need to Know: The popular Nike indoor soccer shoe, the Gato, is back this Saturday in a simple “Pine Green” colorway, shown here. Breaking up the predominantly green color scheme is the gum brown outsole.
