Bianca Censori Has Apparently Been ‘Channeling Messages From the Dead’

Bianca Censori has affirmed her belief in the power of astrology in a new interview, which includes an aside about Censori’s claim that she’s been “channeling messages from the dead” since her time in an in-patient rehab program in Spain.

In a new interview with Vanity Fair, published Friday (February 6), Censori — whose husband is the artist formerly known as Kanye West — pointed out that Ye himself is “not really that into” astrology.

This, as explained in the piece, is a markedly different stance than her own, as Censori employs Vedic astrology, specifically, but is hesitant to go into detail on the record over concerns of people who might “do weird things” with such information.

“I like all sort of woo-woo, occult-y stuff,” Censori, a Capricorn, said.

The new feature includes an aside from interviewer Anna Peele about Censori’s claim that she’s been “channeling messages from the dead” since her time in an in-patient rehab program in Spain.

Though a direct quote from Censori on the topic of channeling messages from the deceased is not included in the piece, available in full here, Peele offered the following:

“Censori says that since rehab, she has been channeling messages from the dead.“

The rehab in question, as mentioned elsewhere in the interview, was preceded by a period in Censori’s life during which she was “self-medicating” with benzodiazepines while also hurting those around her. She credits her personal experience in rehab with changing her life, adding that it’s enabled her to “function.”

In December, Censori launched her BIO POP (THE ORIGIN) performance art project in Seoul, marking the beginning of an extended series that’s currently scheduled to conclude in 2032. Billed as a “self-portrait in constraint,” the inaugural piece featured doubles of Bianca restrained inside furniture.

Forthcoming entries in the series include two for this year, CONFESSIONAL (THE WITNESS) and BIANCA IS MY BABY DOLL (THE IDOL), plus three more across subsequent years leading up to a concluding piece subtitled THE ASCENSION.
