An iconic, family-owned brand. A status symbol. A trend for hypebeasts. Whatever you personally consider Chrome Hearts, there is no denying how much momentum is behind the Los Angeles-based operation in recent years.

What you may not realize is, Chrome Hearts is far from a newcomer to the fashion world. The brand has been crafting silver accessories and premium leather goods since the ’80s. It’s picked up its fair share of fans along the way, too—Rick Owens, Rei Kawakubo, Virgil Abloh, and Nigo to name a few. And that’s just in the style realm. These days, Chrome Hearts is on the radar of countless individuals, whether it’s being rapped about by Lil Uzi Vert or worn in the tunnel by NBA stars like league MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.

But like we said, Chrome Hearts didn’t sprout up from out of nowhere. The brand has CFDA awards. It’s been outfitting legendary musicians, designers, athletes, and more for over 30 years. Here are 15 of the best Chrome outfits we’ve seen on celebrities.

Where: Designer of the Year Dinner (Art Basel Miami 2011)

WEEEEEEEEEEELL, IT’S… the Big Show? Yeah, this WWE legend might not be the first person you’d expect to be a fan of a brand like Chrome Hearts, but this picture perfectly articulates just how popular the brand has always been. Here, the 7-foot giant can be seen rocking an unzipped Chrome Hearts hoodie alongside the brand’s founder Richard Stark at an event in Miami. This incredible photo poses the question we will never know the answer to, “Why didn’t Stark ever design Big Show some special ring gear?” Imagine seeing someone get chokeslammed by a man in a black singlet covered in leather crosses.

Where: Anti cover reveal (2015)

Rihanna has supported Chrome Hearts for years, but one of the most memorable instances came back in 2015 during the event to reveal the Anti cover in Los Angeles. She celebrated the momentous occasion wearing a black silk robe covered in Chrome Hearts crosses and matching dress. Not to get too far off topic, but it has really been ten years since her last album. We need R9, badly.

Where: 1992 CFDA Awards

Cher is one of the most iconic pop singers to ever live. She has also been a longtime supporter of Chrome Hearts. So, we had to make sure she was represented on this list. Her close relationship with the Starks even prompted Richard to request her to present him with the CFDA Accessories Designer of the Year award during the 1992 ceremony. Stark kept his acceptance speech short and sweet, thanking the likes of Cher, his wife Laurie Lynn, and “the rest of the classic, sleazy bitches that wear our shit.”

Where: “We Fly High” video shoot (2006)

Rappers dripped out in Chrome is commonplace these days, but don’t forget about one of the originators. Jim Jones was pulling up to video shoots in full Chrome Hearts outfits 20 years ago. If you see him wearing Chrome pieces these days, he isn’t just following a trend, he’s championing an element of hip-hop fashion he helped popularize. That being said, his fit here is pretty calm, thus its lower placement.

Where: Chrome Hearts x Bella Hadid Launch Party (Paris Fashion Week 2017)

If there is one woman who should be credited for helping push Chrome Hearts into the closets of a whole new generation, it’s supermodel Bella Hadid. A close personal friend of daughter Jesse Jo and the rest of the Stark family, Hadid has been wearing the brand casually for years. She has appeared in multiple ad campaigns. She has even designed various collaborative collections with Chrome Hearts since 2017 that have included everything from sunglasses to mini skirts. Here, she can be seen in full Chrome Hearts at the launch event for her line during Paris Fashion Week back in 2017, sporting a black leather dress, matching gloves, and a few silver necklaces for good measure.

Where: Offset’s Set it Off tour (2024)

Offset is one of hip-hop’s most consistent supporters of Chrome Hearts as of late. He loves the brand so much that he even got a bunch of custom leather outfits to wear on stage throughout his 2024 Set it Off tour. If rappers are the new rockstars, Offset is doing his best to dress the part.

Where: Coachella (2025)

The highlight of Yeat’s Coachella performance for many fans was his amazing cover of Drake’s “Feel No Ways.” His outfit was on point too. He rocked the stage in head-to-toe Chrome Hearts. Yeat was covered in more crosses than the pope. Yet, it somehow doesn’t feel like overkill.

Where: Met Gala (2025)

Kim Kardashian has no shortage of memorable Met Gala looks. Add this one to the list. For the 2025 event, Kim K wore a custom crocodile leather ensemble complete with a Zorro-esque hat to shield her face. Chrome Hearts on the Met Gala steps was a crazy moment.

Where: 2005 NBA All-Star Game

Flashy courtside fits have long been a staple of professional basketball. Just look at this Hov fit from 20 years ago. He showed up to the Pepsi Center in Denver to watch the league’s best wearing a black Chrome Hearts T-shirt complete with a branded collar, silver dog tags from the brand around his neck, and a pair of patent leather Bapestas to match. Chrome Hearts is often associated with the newer generation of rappers. Fittingly, the man widely considered the GOAT of the genre had them all beat by over a decade.

Where: NBA Finals (2025)

Kai Cenat cares about his fashion. Just look at his Instagram fit dumps for proof. Honestly, this one isn’t ranked so high because of the overall outfit though. We just love a matching moment. Cenat and his girlfriend Gabrielle Alayah pulled up to sit courtside in his and hers Chrome Hearts Uggs. They were the best dressed couple in the building that night.

Where: Flaunt photoshoot (2001)

Plenty of you have probably seen this photo dozens of times. It’s become an internet-favorite. And that’s for a good reason. It’s incredible. Snoop looks like a total badass. The shiesty. The Chrome Hearts. The Doggfather was another rapper who was ahead of his time.

Where: Courtside in Atlanta (2025)

Carti has made Chrome Hearts part of his uniform throughout the Music era. There are numerous memorable looks to choose from. We like this one so much because of the stark contrast between his crossed-up, all-black attire and the guy in business casual sitting right next to him.

Where: Courtside at MSG (2025)

The Knicks may have come up short on their quest for an NBA championship in the 2024-25 season, but Timothée Chalamet’s run of custom Chrome Hearts looks will live forever. The cross patch Timberlands and navy blue velour tracksuit were cool, but nothing comes close to this letterman jacket/cross denim combo from Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Finals. I’m not even a Knicks fan and I’d spend a questionable amount of money to own that jacket.

Where: 1996 Emmy Awards

Even Joey Tribbiani couldn’t resist Chrome Hearts. During the 1996 Emmys, Friends star Matt LeBlanc was nursing a broken arm that he had suffered during a fight scene gone wrong shooting one of the episodes of the hit ’90s sitcom. But was the actor going to let an injury ruin his red carpet moment? Of course not. Rather than show up in a non-flattering sling, LeBlanc pulled up in a now-infamous black leather sling complete with a silver Chrome Hearts cross medallion stamped at the center. LeBlanc cemented his acting legacy with Friends, but this night also put him in the moodboard hall of fame. Maybe the broken arm was a blessing in disguise.

Where: Gervonta “Tank” Davis vs. Frank Martin in Las Vegas (2024)

This is the best Chrome Hearts fit we’ve ever seen. Honestly, we don’t even think it’s all that close. Knocking someone’s head off then hitting the backflip emote in the $100,000 leather Chrome kit is boxing showmanship at its finest. Yes, we have to admit that this iconic photo has something to do with this placement, but even without it this would have been a top-tier moment. And don’t even get us started on Tank’s Chrome Hearts punching bag and gloves. All hail to the king of Chrome.
