Jeff Goldblum is dedicated to his watches. Over the course of his 51-year acting career, he’s been seen with numerous timepieces on the red carpet, from a rare Jacob & Co. Astronomia Tourbillon Baguette with Tsavorite gems and Jacob-cut diamonds, to a more readily-available Cartier Tank Louis. This Hamilton JazzMaster is proof that you don’t need to break the bank to wear something pretty. In Independence Day: Resurgence (2016), Goldblum’s character David Levinson wears this very model. It makes sense that someone saving the world would wear the GMT, since it can track two time zones at once.

A simpler, more casual iteration to Cartier’s Tank series, the Tank Solo still carries the same elegance and iconic rectangular face that made the Tank family legendary. You don’t have to scroll for long on Goldblum’s Instagram before you see this watch make an appearance.

Jeff Goldblum has been spotted in many different versions of the beloved Cartier Tank, but in recent appearances for the Wicked (2024) movie, he was repeatedly seen wearing his Tank Louis Cartier. The LC, the second watch ever released in the Tank family in 1919, has a slightly elongated rectangular face compared to the first Tank, now known as the Tank Normale.

He topped off his Prada tuxedo with a Jean Schlumberger by Tiffany Vrille Flower brooch in platinum and 18k gold, along with an 18k rose gold cocktail watch with diamonds set in the bezel. While Tiffany is more often associated with fine jewelry, its watchmaking roots trace back to the 1800s.

Goldblum wore the brand’s Traditionnelle Pavé Moon Phase at the 2025 Golden Globes, and the piece lives up to the maker’s heritage. With a diamond-paved case and moon phase indicator, it feels like something the Wizard of Oz would actually wear.

Jeff Goldblum wore the J12 Paradoxe Diamonds to this year’s Pre-Oscars dinner, identifiable by the split in the case and dial, with diamonds set on one side. With a price tag north of a million dollars, the watch features a triple-axis tourbillon, a rotating magnesium globe, a 1-carat Jacob-cut diamond, and 342 baguette-cut diamonds hand-set across its domed sapphire case.
