Louis Vuitton and Formula 1 have entered a ten-year agreement for the luxury fashion house to be the official partner of the motorsport.

The announcement comes as Formula celebrates its 75th anniversary in 2025, and Louis Vuitton will be a big part of those celebrations. LV’s parent company LVMH previously teamed up with Formula 1 last year as the Global Partner. The partnership with the French fashion house will kick off with title sponsorship of races, including the March opener in Australia. This includes trackside signage, but Louis Vuitton will also be the sole supplier of trophy trunks going forward.

The trophy trunks will feature the iconic Louis Vuitton pattern.

“I am immensely proud of this partnership between Louis Vuitton and Formula 1 with our shared ambition to always strive for innovation, craft and precision,” said Louis Vuitton CEO and chairman, Pietro Beccari. “The synergy of our two worlds is echoed in the savoir faire of our ateliers and garages, artisans, and engineers, while celebrating the outstanding performance of champion drivers around the world who embark on a journey of excellence with every race.”

Stefano Domenicali, President and CEO of Formula 1, added that Louis Vuitton will “bring their style and passion to the Paddock and beyond.”

Speaking with WWD, Beccari said that there’s potential for the partnership to bleed out to capsule collections. Nothing is announced for now, but it seems like a natural extension of the announcement.
