To celebrate the linkup and give a preview of what’s to come, we met with Luar designer Raul Lopez in South Williamsburg, where he grew up, to get a look at New York through his eyes and to hear more about his philosophy of luxury.

Instead, he’s built his cult following from the ground up, starting with a small, $10,000 budget. That hustle mentality runs deep in everything Luar touches, including these gloves.
