Travis Kelce has always loved the spotlight, even before he became a professional football player—much less the boyfriend of the biggest pop star on the planet. His mother, Donna Kelce, confirmed as such in the Kansas City Chiefs tight end’s new GQ cover story: As a kid, she said, “he just loved attention. Which he still does, God bless him!” Rarely is this more apparent than when Kelce gets dressed up for game day.

Travis Kelce on His Upcoming Season, Post-NFL Ambitions, and Life with Taylor Swift
After a grueling Super Bowl loss, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end spent his summer vacation focused on coming back stronger than ever. At Kelce’s under the radar gym in Florida, he answers all our questions about his redoubled training regimen, what comes after football, and life at the center of American pop culture.

In a 2023 interview with the Wall Street Journal, Kelce described himself as an “impulse shopper” who enjoys scrolling SSENSE and Farfetch like the rest of us (though it’s hard to imagine he’s doing much sorting by “price: low to high” these days). He admitted to spending hours picking out his game-day outfits, saying, “I kind of just do it off of instinct. It really just goes down to the wire. I kind of enjoy the creative process of the panic to just throw something together.”
“Obviously, not every look is for everybody,” he added. “I’m not going to be offended if somebody says I look like a clown if I got a fun hat on and some wacky jeans. It is what it is, I’m gonna have fun with it.”
Come take a walk down memory lane, and scroll on to see Travis Kelce’s biggest fits of all time.
