Shawn Stussy, founder of iconic streetwear brand Stüssy, has teased the official reboot of his streetwear label, S/DOUBLE.

In a series of Instagram posts over the last month, the 71-year-old fashion extraordinaire soft launched the brand’s return in black and white photos captured by his son, Tate.

The images show workwear structured shirts, hoodies with an ‘S/DOUBLE’ graphic, and wide-leg denim jeans.

The brand went defunct in 2016 after its founding eight years before, and a relaunch was announced in 2024. A mural depicting a letter written by Stussy accompanied the announcement about S/DOUBLE, which Stussy reestablished in partnership with sibling trio Matt, Peter, and Stephen Hill.

In an Instagram post from earlier this month, Stussy spoke of his new life chapter being based around “freedom.”

“This is what 71 laps gets you… tenured knowledge, plenty wrinkles and chips, and for me, freedom,” Stussy captioned the post. “Doing what I want and stoked to be engaged in this small project with the Hill Bros down under… miles of road behind me and looking straight down the pike at the next 20 or so…”

S/DOUBLE appears to only be available in Australia, and plans to expand the line to other countries have not been announced.
