What’s billed as the largest live-streaming studio ever built at a music festival has taken over the desert during this year’s Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, drawing everyone from beauty influencers to boxing champion Ryan Garcia.
MemeHouse Networks has constructed nine themed houses and installed more than 80 cameras across the Indio desert for both weekends of the festival, generating upward of 2,500 hours of live content under the banner “The Scene.”
Sandra Aderibigbe, MemeHouse’s director of marketing, described the project as the natural evolution of festival culture.
“Coachella has always been the place where culture moves first, and The Scene is our answer to what that looks like in 2026,” she said. “We built nine houses, each with its own world, its own energy, and its own community of creators living and streaming in real time. It’s the largest IRL streaming studio ever built at a music festival, and every moment of it is live for anyone in the world to watch.”
The compound functions as a dual-purpose destination. During daylight hours, the nine houses operate as luxury wellness retreats, beauty and glamour hubs, gaming studios and brand activation spaces. After dark, all nine broadcast simultaneously as creator-led experiences.
WBC welterweight champion Garcia, 27, stopped by for the Friday night festivities, photographed in a red matching tracksuit alongside Keella Garre, CEO of YDG WRLD, who wore a burgundy feathered ensemble.
Garcia said the hospitality matched the spectacle.
“I love Coachella, and I love MemeHouse — they know how to throw a real event,” he told SI. “The level of hospitality is top tier, always love their event, and catching up with friends who attend.”
Garcia’s appearance came amid a festival already generating headlines for a midnight performance by Justin Bieber.
In addition, the event also saw Love Island’s Nic Vansteenberghe and Pepe Garcia attend.
Viewers can access The Scene’s live programming through MemeHouse’s channels on Twitch and Kick. Coverage extends beyond Coachella into the following week, when the Stagecoach Country Music Festival — also held in Indio — gets underway.
